Cross Religious Tattoo

Cross Tattoo occurred during the Crusades. European knights were far away from home, fighting in a religious war. In order to ensure that they would be given a Christian burial if they fell in battle, many of these knights had small Cross Tattoo on their arms so that they could be easily identified.
